A new campaign aimed solely at the Junk Food industry is being launched with over 50 consumer groups on board, all backing a voluntary code of practice.

It calls on the ban of junk food in schools, which I’m surprised is allowed anyway among other initiatives to stop obesity levels rising. Figures predict that up to 177 million children are suffering world wide as a result of obesity related disease, and also that up to 2.3 billion people over the age of 15 could be obese by 2015. This is the future. A Life not dictated, by how much money you can earn or what clothes you are wearing, but a life that is guided by the heart. For that is what the two brave farmers have done.

Both have been brought up in a city environment, and always felt as if there was something missing from their lives. Following their hearts they found a love for growing and working with the earth. Finding this love, has now led them to owning a 25 acre organic farm, which they both work on and nurture. This is something the indigo children seem to be bringing in to the world, the knowledge and importance of organic growing. Organic farming has more than doubled in the US from 2000 to 2005, and it’s rise has been helped by indigos like these two above.
